About this preset
Color grade footage takes the cut you already have and gives it back with the colour done. You either name the look in plain words, warm film, clean bright day, neon night glow, old photos, or send a reference frame and ask for that mood, and the grade is built on real film stock emulations rather than a filter.
The framing, the cuts, the length and the sound come back exactly as you sent them, because grading is the only thing that happens. You get the graded master, the untouched original and a before and after, plus the name of the negative and the finish that were used so every later shot in the same project can be matched to it.
Use cases
- Grading a short film to one consistent look
- Matching a wedding film to a reference still the couple loves
- Bringing a documentary cut up to a broadcast look
- Making a brand film match last year's campaign
- Matching new pickups to footage you shot months ago

The kind of shot this preset grades: a night interior delivered back at the source geometry
The kind of shot this preset grades: an overcast coastal ride, shown here as the ungraded plate
Ungraded camera original, 16:9, one continuous take from a following car. A man in his thirties rides a road bicycle along an empty coastal road on a flat overcast morning, the grey sea and a low headland behind him, the camera tracking beside and slightly ahead of him at handlebar height. The image is deliberately flat and neutral, the way a log camera original looks before anyone grades it: low contrast, lifted blacks, desaturated colour, even exposure across the frame, natural skin with real texture and no smoothing and no stylisation of any kind. Small honest vibration from the tracking vehicle, shallow depth of field, the road surface plain and unmarked. The rider's clothing, the bicycle and everything on the road are plain and unlettered, carrying no logo, wordmark or trademark of any kind, and there is no road sign in frame. Wind, tyre hiss on the road and distant surf, no music. No on-screen text, no watermark. Use only the brand names, logos and trademarks the customer includes in their request; never add real-world brands, logos or trademarked designs the customer did not mention.
The kind of shot this preset grades: a golden hour rooftop portrait, shown here as the ungraded plate
Ungraded camera original, 16:9, one continuous handheld take. A woman in her forties with grey streaked hair stands at a rooftop railing at golden hour, the low sun behind her shoulder and a soft haze over a low old town of tiled roofs and chimneys beyond, and she turns from the view to look just past the camera and half smiles. The image is deliberately flat and neutral, the way a log camera original looks before anyone grades it: low contrast, lifted blacks, desaturated colour, even exposure across the frame, natural skin with real texture and no smoothing and no stylisation of any kind. Handheld with small honest drift, shallow depth of field, lens flare kept low. Her clothing, the railing and every roof beyond are plain and unlettered, carrying no logo, wordmark, signage or trademark of any kind. Light wind, distant birds and quiet room tone, no music. No on-screen text, no watermark. Use only the brand names, logos and trademarks the customer includes in their request; never add real-world brands, logos or trademarked designs the customer did not mention.
