About this preset
Pianist gives you both halves of a piano performance piece: the shot, opening close on the hands and easing back to take in the player, and an original solo piano piece written to that take and laid under it.
You bring the mood, the tempo and roughly how long you want it, or one word will do. The picture is rendered first and the music is composed to it, which is why the two sit together rather than drifting apart. The instrument comes back unlettered, so nothing in frame belongs to anyone else.
Use cases
- A teaser for a single or an album
- A loop for a study or meditation channel
- A demo reel piece for a composer or a session player
- A venue, school or festival promo
- An interstitial between chapters of a longer film
- A social clip introducing a band member and their instrument

Piano performance, 16:9, opening close on the hands and easing back to the player
Concert performance shot, 16:9, one continuous take. A pianist sits at a grand piano on a dark stage under one warm overhead pool of light that falls across the keyboard and the player's hands. The camera begins close and three quarter on the hands working the keys, fingers moving with real weight and articulation across the register, then eases up and back into a wider view taking in the shoulders, the raised lid and the light reflected in the black lacquer. Shallow depth of field, warm practical light against deep black, fine dust in the beam, the pedals working at the bottom of frame. Photoreal skin with natural texture and honest colour, relaxed posture, eyes on the keys. The fallboard, the stage and everything on it are plain and unlettered, carrying no logo, wordmark or trademark of any kind. A solo piano melody plays in time with the hands, unaccompanied, with no other instrument and no voice. No on-screen text, no watermark. Use only the brand names, logos and trademarks the customer includes in their request; never add real-world brands, logos or trademarked designs the customer did not mention.
